Everything was good with the following recommendations. Since there was construction ongoing, it would have been nice to know ahead of time. But there was hardly any noise. For breakfast, it would have been nice if they would have some pastries or muffins (banana nut or blueberry) For two days, I could not get any regular coffee for my room since they were out.
Had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. I particularly appreciated the convenient location and the quiet atmosphere that allowed for a restful night's sleep. I'd highly recommend this Fairfield Inn to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience!
Pricing was high for a non tourist area, but the legislature is in session, so that may explain it. $150 per night AAA rate was not a bargain. With that said, it's a nice updated hotel with a free hot breakfast.
I was traveling from NC to IL and needed a place to spend the night. I was welcomed at the desk by a very polite and friendly employee. I think her name was Lynn. She was so kind and professional. I truly enjoyed my one night stay here. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Interacted with several staff, all shifts, all very helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was fine. Simple, bacon and eggs, fruit, yogurts, cereal, toast items. If you're planning to visit any whiskey distilleries this is a good location. I would stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to some distilleries we were visiting. The location was fantastic, and only about 10-15 minutes from great bourbon distilleries and restaurants. I can’t give them 5 stars because the rooms need to be modernized. However, we spent most of the day on tours so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I would book a future stay due to the price and location.
Great stay. The people here are so pleasant to work with and very helpful! The room was super clean. The breakfast spread had plenty of options. The gym is 24 hours and had a full selection of dumbbells, a couple of treadmill, a bike and an elliptical. Located minutes from many distilleries and right off of Hwy. Thanks!
